The WineAmerica Board
WineAmerica’s Board of Directors are elected by the winery membership to three-year terms, staggered so that one-third of the Board is up for election in any given year.
Two thirds of the Board of Directors are elected to represent nine regions which are devised to reflect, as best as possible, an equal number of wineries. Each region has one seat, except for California which, by virtue of the size of its industry, has two seats.
In addition to the regional positions, six Board members are elected at-large. The State and Regional Associations Advisory Council Chairman is also a member of the WineAmerica Board of Directors.
